Dining at Bernadette in Downtown Salem
Reservations
Reservations can be made online through OpenTable or by phone for parties of up to 9 guests. For the most up-to-date availability, we recommend booking online. Reservations are released on the first day of each month for the following two months.
Just a heads-up: reservations are for table seating only and cannot be transferred to the bar. If you're hoping for a bar seat, we kindly ask that you walk in instead of booking a reservation.
Our 12-seat bar is first-come, first-served and offers the full dinner menu. Whether you’re here for a quick cocktail or a full evening, it’s a great spot to soak up the energy of the room without a reservation.
Group Dining
For an intimate and unforgettable evening, consider our Chef’s Table, tucked beside the wine room and overlooking the kitchen. Available for up to six guests, the Chef’s Table offers a multi-course tasting menu with optional wine pairings and can be reserved directly through OpenTable.
For parties of 10 to 16 guests, our Group Dining experience features a seasonal, curated menu highlighting the best ingredients available from our local farm partners. Group Dining can also be reserved directly through OpenTable.
Looking to host something bigger? Bernadette is available for private events, partial buyouts, and full restaurant buyouts for up to 65 guests. Email private-events@bernadettesalem.com to begin planning.
Gift Certificates
Treat someone to a night at Bernadette. Gift cards are available in any amount, never expire, and can be used for dining at your convenience.

Dinner At Home
Sometimes the perfect night out is a night in. Bernadette offers our full menu for takeout Tuesday through Thursday, with ordering opening at 4:45PM and available throughout dinner service.
Whether you’re craving a quiet evening on the couch or bringing a little French-inspired comfort to your own table, our dishes travel beautifully and are prepared with the same care as when you dine with us.
